I’m a Pacific Northwest native who fell in love with food while binging Food Network to help me get through the horrors of postpartum depression.
Now that my daughter is 8, I can share my food adventures with her. I have a deep love for all things local food-wise, and I’m lucky to live somewhere so food diverse.
I do have food sensitivities and allergies (I’m looking at you, peanuts), so you’ll never find recipes on my blog that feature peanuts as an ingredient. Wherever possible, I’ll share the brands I use and love that are peanut-free, too, so if you have a peanut allergy you can feel good creating my recipes for yourself or your family, too.
Lastly, I have a raunchy sense of humor and cuss like a sailor so if those things offend you, this probably isn’t the blog for you.
I can’t wait to share my creations with you and see where you take them.
